Pony Club
Our club encourages young people to ride and look after their horse whilst learning to enjoy
all kinds of sports connected with horses and riding.
We are an approved Pony Club Centre
Starting young is always an advantage. The Club encourages young people to ride and is open to both boys and girls. We have rallies, gymkhanas and summer camps to take part in. Our members learn how to look after the ponies in a fun and safe environment, making friends with other children with similar interests. Mini achievement badges are a fun way of learning about the many different aspects of horsemanship and the countryside. They also lead to the Club efficiency tests.
How do I join the Pony Club?
Anyone under the age of 21 can join. You do not need to own your own horse or pony to join. The annual membership of the Club includes Personal Liability Insurance (third party). All members are encouraged to work at improving their knowledge and experience and take a series of progressive tests, which can help provide an excellent grounding for those interested in a career in equestrianism. Likewise younger members who just want to learn and have fun can work on mini achievement badges.
